The Chevrolet Suburban is the first of the large sport utility vehicles. When Chevy started making the Suburban, they looked at what was on the market, and decided to make a new market. The product they came up with was built on a truck chassis and had the advantage of a station wagon style seating capacity. With its varied utility it has remained a popular vehicle for seventy plus years.
